So i will call this a test post.

I have been away from the blogging land for a loooonnnnggg time. I have, these past few weeks, been catching up with my blogs, deleting lots of blogs from my google reader and generally reading (stalking) the blogs i truly love.

Just to let you know that I’m back blogging. I know it’s been ages – 6 months I think (eek) but I have missed you guys so much.

I want to say thanks to all my followers who have stayed with me, in spite of the lack of updates. You are too loyal (or maybe you didn’t notice?). Either way, thanks.
Some of you know I’ve been around on twitter and stuff so I didn’t completely fall off the face of the planet and I’ve been reading all your blog posts.

BIRTHDAY Its my birthday on the 30th and that's always a good thing even though i have to work and am currently doing nothing- but still- woop

HOLIDAY On the 1st I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks. Hurrah!! I haven't been on holiday for 3 years (seriously). Cannot wait!

SKIN Thankfully my skin is behaving itself this week and have had no nasty breakouts

MAYBELINE I'm loving having all these products to try and i love the lipstick number 125 (shimmer pink i think it's called) LOVE it

AUSSIE The lovely Daisy invited me to be her guest at the Aussie event and I'm on holiday : ( Gutted its on that day because i really wanted to go. Thanks Daisy *hug*

FAT My weight. Its out of control at the moment. I've gained 10 and a half pounds because I'm eating everything in sight. I can't stop. I should get the bf to slap me every time i overeat- aversion therapy lol

HOME Living at home is a bloody nightmare. I can't stand living with the mother anymore. We don't really see eye to eye at the best of times but can't afford to move out yet. Rent at home is cheaper then all the bills on my own. Which brings me onto..

WORK Fed up with it. Would like an exciting job please? Or a pay rise?

As you all know and I'm sure are sick of hearing about- there was a Maybelline event held in Hammersmith in London at the L'oreal HQ last week. I'm sure you have read the post several times so I'll give you my play by play for anyone who wants to read my personal account of the day (and my first event)

I started off my day by driving to the station, getting a train to York and there i met the lovely Sarah. She is so nice and i was pleased to say we got on like a house on fire (so to speak). We ended up chatting non stop all the way 'darn sowf'. We then met Phoebe and walked to Euston to meet Sadie, Carly and Nicola.

From there we headed to Selfridges where we ogled the goodies. I ended up at the Benefit counter and got the Erase Paste (in shade 2- i thought i would be a 1 because I'm so pale- but no) and also the Dandelion blush. Hours went by and we were still in the holy shopping mecca and realised we should make our way across London.

The venue was lovely. We were greeted by Natalie from HeadStream PR who took us upstairs and urged us to eat the lovely cakes (which we did).

I was trying not to eat them all- but did have two (naughty)

Then the two Katie's and Charlotte gave us a presentation about the brand. I always thought i knew Maybelline quite well, being the devotee that i am to the classic Great Lash mascara (the pink and green one). They told us the story behind the name of Maybelline. I'm sure you have heard it on other blogs but basically sweet Mabel got dumped and went to her brother(?) who was a chemist and he made the first mascara for her from coal and Vaseline. She obviously got him back with her fab lashes and the rest is history. (Mabel and Vaseline- Maybelline- clever huh?)

They gave us our goody bags early which was awesome because got got to play with them there and my gosh they were generous!!! We got tons- i feel so lucky and can't wait to have a play. One of the main products they are launching is the Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara. It is priced about £15 i think she said which is quite expensive for Maybelline so it will be good to see how well it performs over my trusty £4.99 Great Lash.

After the presentation we were free to have a play with the make up on display and pick up some foundations too! (can't wait to try these out). They even had MUA there to show us any tricks or looks we wanted.

Except the great privilege of being invited to this event, one of the nicest parts of the day was meeting some of the amazing bloggers whom i love- Carla, Faye, Daisy, Sadie, Vicky, Sarah, Phoebe, Carly, Victoria, Zoe... i could go on forever. I wanna thank everyone i spoke to for making me feel so welcome at my first event. You guys are the greatest.

Afterwards we headed back to the station and chatted to Daisy, Carla, Victoria, Nicola and Phoebe until Sarah and I had to get our train. On which there were no seats!! Vicky was on the same train we later found out via twitter so she came to join us on the floor next to the toilets (bless her) and we chatted all the way home.

I wanna thank Natalie and everyone from Maybelline for making this a fantastic event!!! I will do a review of the products when i have tested them all out and gathered my thoughts. This post was mainly to say what a fab time i had. I hope to see more of you there another time. I love all my followers <3

POLL- Weight Loss, Clothes and Make Up

So i have been thinking that even though my name on here is Weight Loss, Clothes and Make up, there has been a distinct lack of posts on weight loss, and a whole lot more on clothes and make up. Mainly because I haven't been losing weight (eek) and secondly because I've been having a whole lot of fun discussing the more superficial aspects of life (much easier to write about)
My first blog post was about my stuggle to combine losing weight with looking good. Or should i say, when your NOT losing weight, how you can't be arsed to try and look good. (See this post here)

This is where i need you guys- do i stick with this blog and discuss everything- the weight loss, clothes AND make up? (see what i did there : P )

OR

Do i make this purely a beauty blog and do another blog for the weight loss/ health stuff?

I am leaving this up to you guys because you guys are the ones who read this and whereas this blog is of course mine and i control whats on it- if you don't wanna read about weight loss, I'd rather put them on a separate blog and not piss you off with blog updates.

One more thing- if you do think i should separate the two- what do i call this blog and my new blog?

I would really appreciate your comments and input on this.

Theres something about Jack Black- something sexy. I know he isn't conventionally good looking but i quite like that. He would also make me laugh tons. I dunno what it is- i've liked him for years. I wanna big cuddle for him then to go eat a burger and milkshake.

Oh how i love him. He is just so cute and funny. I love him in everything i see him in and he never takes himself too seriously. Even in Clueless i liked him. Little did we know he would become a huge star.

PATRICK SWAYZE

For now and forever. I remember watching Dirty Dancing as a little girl and loving him (as did my mum and every other mum in ther 80's) Even now he is lovely looking. I cried when i heard he had cancer but thankfully he is recovering well. He is a fighter and he won't give up. I love that about him. Given only 6 months to live- he is still here now and filming for TV i hear. Good on ya!!! You still hold the hearts of millions of women and everyone wishes you well

So thats it folks, a little unconventional in places but thats me. I'm not going to tag anyone but just hope other people do this. Its fun : )

Who is going to Maybelline? I didn't think i would be able to because of work but i've begged people and yey! Sorted.

I was wondering what time trains people are getting etc?

Just got the conformation email and its 4- 7! Quite late. Whats the plan? Really don't wanna travel all that way alone. I will have to get a few trains (or drive to York) but my train can either go through York or Leeds. Either really.

During these hard times, I've been looking around for more freebies and ways to save money. Well i was on freecycle (giving things away for free) and I came across Bigwardrobe.com

This site is AMAZING

You list your items (free) and then other members make offers for them. These offers can be cash, swaps or a combo of both. The idea of the site is to be environmentally friendly so i guess swapping is the best idea. You can get a whole new wardrobe for free (essentially). Or purchase items from other members by making them a cash offer.

If you are one of those people who wears things once and then doesn't wear them again- get them listed on here. Its much better than eBay. I only found it a few days ago and have bought loads of things. I made some cheeky cash offers and some were accepted (wayhey)

I'm gonna upload my own clothes this week because i have tons of them and this is a much better idea than eBay as there is no listing fee and final fee. If you swap your item- its totally FREE (except postage to the member but you control that)

Boohoo Bargains

Boohoo have a huge sale on at the moment (which i think ends tomorrow) It's not somewhere I've shopped before to be honest as I much prefer ASOS.com. Boohoo sometimes seems a little, well tacky.

But anyway I placed an order about 3pm yesterday and it arrived this morning! What service for you! I picked up a few bits and pieces as I haven't been able to go shopping for a long time and I'm a bargain hunter. (I ONLY shop if there is a sale on- I kid you not)

So here are some of the bits i got

A lovely little dress! Its quite smart for work and has a bubble hem which is so cute. It was only £7

A shirt dress. I've been looking for one for ages and i fell in love with this when i saw someone else wearing it. I got it in turquoise although i really like this coral colour. I think it was £15 and it came with the little belt.

I got this jersey dress in blue (they have sold out and only have red left- hence the red pic today) It looks better in blue. Red doesn't really suit me that well. Plus it was only £8

And my fave- this tunic. I love the cute detail at the top, and it fits like a dream! Think it was £12 too.

I also got a belt but i can't find a pic of that and my camera is so far away lol

So those are my bargains for under £50

I was born in West Yorkshire and now live in North Yorkshire so I'm a true Yorkshire man! (ee by gum)

At first he didn't bother me but after watching the extra bits on my GG box sex, i saw him talking with his English accent and OH MY GOD

So sexy!

I'm English too! What the hell is going on. Now when i look at him i see a sexy English guy. Maybe because before i saw him as asshole Chuck and now.... well now he is English and sexy and *drool*

I am a lucky girl of late. I never win anything but I seem to have won 2 giveaways these past few weeks. I was so excited.

One more would be lovely… everything comes in 3’s right? (kidding- kinda lol)

Anyway the first one was from Lil at a A Storm in a Teacup who sent me this lovely lot.
It came in Dior bag which was a nice touch, and I got

Nicolas Girls Aloud Lashes (which I really wanted)
The Divine Storm palette (jealous?)
2 Nails Inc. nail polishes in Piccadilly Circus and Shoreditch which are gorgeous pink colours (pics to follow when I have painted my nails)
A Victoria Jackson lip gloss
And a fortune fish.

The tail and head were moving- which means I’m in love (aww). Thankfully the bf did it too and his did the same (would have killed him otherwise lol)

Plus some artwork done by Lil! Its sooo pretty. The detail that has gone into it was amazing. My boyfriend said it was Nicola from Girls Aloud lol (forgive him Lil, he has a thing for her)
Anyway I’m going to treasure it because its lovely. You are one talented lady.

I have been rubbish at blogging lately; I just haven’t had time after I’ve read all your blog posts (which are more exciting then my own)

Anyway I wasn’t tagged but here is my honest scrap tag.

1. I moved to the seaside from Bradford when I was 11 and I know that my life would have been totally different if I had stayed there (I lived on a really rough estate)

2. I have been trying to lose weight for as long as I can remember. I used to go to dance school and always had a my little 8 year old belly hanging out and always felt huge compared to the other girls- this continued throughout school.

3. I worked in a hair salon for 8 years. I started when I was at school because I decided that’s what I wanted to do, but for some reason I went to 6th form and then uni and never did get trained properly. Now I wonder if I’d have been better off because my degree isn’t coming in useful lol

4. I make a lot of lists and never seem to cross anything off

5. I don’t wear like 70% of my wardrobe because I save it as a reward for myself for when I get to goal (despite the fact I may fit in them now- just not as well as when I get to goal)

6. I’m really organised and take charge of organising things

7. I ask tons of questions about things I don’t understand because I love to know new things

8. I’m totally obsessed with magazines! I collect glossies and have them going back to 1998

9. I barely ever go on nights out because I work in the evening, therefore no social life or chance to dress up : (

10. I’m allergic to nickel

Boot Sale Bargains

So on Sunday I had the urge to go to a car boot, with all this chat on blogger about the amazing finds, I had to pop to my local one to see what offerings the locals were… well offering!
I was really surprised. Of course there was some tat but I got a few bits that I was mega happy with! I dragged the bf out of bed too to come with me, and he even got a few bits. Result!

First of all we got Cluedo! Classic game which I didn’t own.. Until now. £1. Bargain. All the bits still there. That made our Sunday night enjoyable (we like board games)

I also got some DVDs- The Princess Diaries and The Princess Dairies 2- films I haven’t seen but I’m loving Anne Hathaway at the moment so I snapped them up for £1. I also got Popstars the Rivals- I will admit it was mainly so I could see Girls Aloud before stylists and teeth veneers and crowns. And to see Cheryl Cole in her natural glory. They were all pretty before but wow- stylists are amazing!!!
I had to admit I didn’t know any of the boys- what ever happened to the guy group??

I also got Vouge Covers. It has loads of the covers from the very first issue. Really interesting. Only £2.

I also got a Ped Egg- well because ya know…

My fave purchase was a Body Shop set. It was the Jasmine perfume box set. I was sooo happy because I love the smell of the Jasmine perfume. So I ask how much it is, expecting her to say about a tenner, seeing as it was new and I know for a fact at xmas they sold for £20. But she said £2! I pulled my best ‘poker face’ handed the money and ran away before she could change her mind. Then raved on at my bf how the body lotion alone was worth more than that and how I love this perfume and wear it all the time.

Amazing. I think I’m going to be going to more boot sales : )

yeah, when I was 9 I got stuck in quicksand and it pulled me in up to my waist- took 5 teachers to pull me out. I thought I was going to die. It feels like people are grabbing your legs and pulling you down

This week i lost 2lbs
I'm sooo excited about that- and about bloody time i say
lol
I worked out 3 times this week and my lovely BF worked out with me- bless him
Its so much more motivating doing it with someone
We did a WW DVD and it was sooo funny, because i know most of the moves, but his over enthusiastic girly moves made me giggle
Working out got a lot more fun : )

I ate really well- i went to pizza hut (my downfall) and tracked!!!! first time ever that i've tracked in pizza hut- i've always thought 'sod it' and hit the buffet.
Very happy

All in all a very good week, lets hope i can continue the motivated me

Whats your favourite make up look?
I’m a simple girl so eyeliner, mascara, and some bronzer. I keep meaning to wear foundation but it tends to make the skin around my nose look dry, no matter how well I moisturise. But I wish I had a lovely even complexion from foundation, so then I could look flawless.

Do you have a beauty vice?
Avon! I order way too much from there and its simply because I always get the book on a Tuesday night after my Weigh In so I’m either happy and buy lots, or I’m sad and want to feel better. Terrible I know. I just buy make up and shower gels, whatever is on offer. Plus when it gets delivered I get all excited. Is that Sad?

What part of your body do you love?
Ohhhh I really wish I could say I loved my body but I don’t. I’m working on it! Very soon I will say I adore my body. At the moment I guess my eyes? Because they never change and I like the fact they are blue, which is a lame answer

Who is your beauty icon?
Sooo many. Of course Monroe, but also Audrey Hepburn and Sarah Jessica Parker (I love the fact she isn’t too good looking but yet is stunning with it)

What beauty product makes you instantly feel sexy?
Eyeliner and perfume. When I’m wearing my favourite perfume I feel sexy because it reminds me of good times, but also it smells divine, and I only wear it for very special occasions. And eyeliner because my eyes look just boring without it.

How do you look after your skin?
Again I’m a simple girl, so I wash it on a night, put some moisturiser on, then in the morning, tone and some SPF. I like face masks and blackhead strips when I can be bothered lol.

What is your signature scent?
I own tons of perfume but I love Kenzo Amour, CK in2U, Davidoff Cool Water and D&G light blue.

What are your hair care secrets?
Head and Shoulders smooth shampoo, Tresemme conditioner and Teknique as a leave in conditioner. I also use an intensive leave in conditioner by Tresemme every so often.

How do you pamper yourself?
Moisturising and doing my nails. I used to have facials every 6 weeks but they got expensive and my skin isn’t any worse for not having them. I also like to get massages but I haven’t had one for about a year!

What is your beauty pet peeve?
Fake Tan! Some people look soooo orange with it. It’s really terrible. Fake tan looks gorgeous on some people, but to all you orange people- USE LESS OR STOP IT

What would your desert island must haves be?
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, sun lotion, eyeliner and mascara. Plus water and ice. And some food would be good. lol

Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?
Everyone is beautiful! Beauty is in your flaws, that one thing you hate, I can promise you that someone else finds it adorable. Love yourself and look after your body! It’s the only one you have. And stop with the plastic surgery, love the body you were given!

Teknique Protein Spray

A little product review/ rec. for you -
This is one of my MUST HAVE items

It is a protein spray by Teknique

Its really amazing, seriously, I couldn’t live without this item. My hair is bleached and has been really heavily coloured for many years, and those deep conditioners were not helping as much as I would have liked them to. My hair was soft -sure, but still snapping at the ends. One day I found a huge ball of matted hair just at the ends of my hair and I had to cut it off because it was so dead. Cue panic and buying this product.

I worked in a salon and I had known about this product for years but I always thought it was used on people who had just had a perm as it protects the hair and repairs some of the damage the lotion does. We did use it after colours, but tended to use a heavier leave in treatment. It was suggested by one of my colleagues to try this protein spray (also known as Infusion)

Your hair is made up of protein, so this spray totally makes sense. It contains pro vitamin B5 which is essential for hair growth and keratin.
I use it after I have washed my hair as a leave in treatment, and let it dry naturally, or blow dry it if I’m short of time. It has transformed my hair; no longer is it dry and brittle but feels silky, even after I’ve had my bleached highlights.

It can be used on permed hair, coloured hair or just normal hair for a bit of a protein boost or even in between washes.

I think it costs about £6 (but as I say I worked in a salon until recently so it may be a bit more to someone else going to the wholesalers) but you can buy it from Sallys. Or pop into your local salon to see if they have it. Its salon exclusive so you wont find it in Boots or Superdrug.

I use conditioner and this treatment together and it doesn’t leave my hair flyaway or limp from too much product, it just protects my hair and ensures it doesn’t break. I urge you to pick it up. Hope you found this useful.

Beauty Haul!

Soooo, I went shopping the other day and got a few goodies.

Firstly I got THE BODY SHOP facial brush, which was recommended by Lipgloss86.
The reason I wanted this was because like Lipgloss86, I wanted to try the wave- I have a lot of blackheads on my nose- and I thought the wave would give me that deep clean I was looking for, but rather than spending all that money, I took her recommendation and got the facial brush. I haven’t had time to use it yet, but I can’t wait to, and it will be used tonight, so I will let you guys know how I get on with it.

Next stop was to Boots to get the SALLY HANSEN NAIL GROWTH MIRACLE (thanks to Hele and Daisy’s recommendations)
My nails are pretty shocking really, I worked in a hair salon for 8 years so my hands were always in bleach, water and colour. I can’t say the amount of times I’ve dyed my hands red or pink or even black for weeks on end (gloves are way too annoying to use lol)

So anyway I thought I would give this a bash, as you can see, this is a picture of me with a coat of it on, it has a really nice glossy sheen to it which makes me nails look nicer already. My nails grow ok, but they tend to split and break, so again, I’ll give it a week and report back.

I also couldn’t resist the GIRLS ALOUD LASHES. To be honest, I wanted these purely because they are Girls Aloud and I love them. Lol I got Kimberly’s because she is my favourite, and also they looked quite natural with lots of length and fullness. Cheryl’s were sold out, but I liked the look of Nicolas too. I don’t know when I will get chance to wear these as I’ve only worn false lashes once... but these look awesome. Has anyone got these? Are they good?

And lastly I got a new DENMAN hairbrush, because after about 4 years mine has died. I always get the same brush as I find its kind on your hair, easy to wash and the perfect size. They last ages too. I only got a new one because the rubber on mine has now split.

All in all I came away feeling pleased, but there was tons more stuff I wanted (damn this beauty blogging- you all make me want your fab recommendations). I did get some dresses in the NEW LOOK sale, but I may show you them another time.

For those of you who follow my blog and don't know much about me, i went into hospital about 3 weeks ago for some surgery, so i haven't really been making weight loss videos and now I'm on a lot of medication which is playing havoc with my weight loss and I'm up about 9lbs from where i was (which sucks)

It also means that now i only have one pair of jeans that fit me, which isn't good news.

lol

So I had lost 22lbs and now its gone down to only having lost 13 1/2 lbs

Which isn't even a stone- VERY GUTTED

I worked really hard to keep the weight off for a few years and i decided i wanted to lose some more at Christmas and it hasn't happened. In fact i have gained more weight.

Never mind ey? I'm alive and that's all that matters ( i won't say healthy)

So this week i am going to drop a point and see how that goes- i need a little loss to spur me on.

I hate taking tablets and at the moment I'm full of them : (

It feels so wrong to be so medicated, especially when I'm trying to lose weight and be healthy, to then put these unnatural chemicals in my body

Does anyone else take lots of medication who feels this way?

INs and OUTs

My very first INs and OUTs post (how exciting)

Hot crossed buns. I had one at Easter and remembered how much i loved them but then forgot about them as i thought you could only buy them at Easter. However i just called in the Co op and they had them there! A pound. Bargain (and yummy)

Tresemme conditioner. We got some of this at home because it was on offer, and usually i use my own conditioner but i tried this one day and loved it! It is really thick and doesn't make my hair flyaway which some conditioners do. Plus the huge tub lasts for ages.

The sun. Finally! enough said

OUTS

The fact i just ate 4 hot crossed buns. Oh dear. lol. I'm trying to keep busy so i don't go back for the other two

My dog getting attacked. This has nothing to do with anything beauty related but i am outraged. I have a boarder Collie and she was out for a walk when two yappy little dogs in a garden decided to chase after her down the street and pin her down by her throat! She is really shaken up and was being sick yesterday. Bless her. Evil yappy little dogs!

Shaving! I need a new method of underarm hair removal. I shave in the morning and by the night i can see it growing back! why doesn't my head hair grow that fast! What is everyone's preferred method of hair removal??

Makeup advice needed

OK so i have a confession to make, all you lovelies out there all talk about these amazing foundations by Mac or Chanel or Dior, but i only own ONE foundation and its from Avon
And i barely use it
Maybe once or twice a month if i go out somewhere special (i hear gasps from the makeup community)

I really want to purchase some nice makeup but i don't wanna spend a lot of money just for spending sake.
If there is a cheap great brand- I'm sold (which is why i use Avon- some of their stuff is amazing)
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against spending for quality but i just have never felt i wanted to buy these things. I do own some medium priced make up such as Urban Decay and Barry M. Plus i love my 8 Hour night cream- which isn't cheap.

I would really love it if you all could suggest some fab make up for me to try.

I'm really pale, with blue eyes and (coloured) blonde hair. It's naturally mousey brown and i have a few freckles. I also have combination skin.
Which at the moment is breaking out on my chin (grr)

My Hair Story

Hey everyone, so i saw this one someones blog a while ago (think it was Natalia AKA filthygorgeousmakeup) and thought it was really interesting, so i decided to do my own.

That's if looking at the life cycle of someones hair interests you (it does me... i worked in a salon for 8 years)

OK so i start off life as a blonde... very white blonde. And a fabulous taste in pretty dresses lol.

Then of course it starts to go darker with age. I must be about 7 here, and it started to go more of a honey blonde. Which i quite like to be honest. (check the headband- i had about 12 of them)

So then it goes brown when i am about 11. But this is the same time i start gaining weight, so i don't mind as much, because i feel horrible anyway

So i start to think i would prefer myself blonde, but my family would only let me get a semi colour... and it goes kind of ginger. But not a nice ginger. I didn't care. I also went a little shorter and got myself some straighteners! (BTW the pose was to show off the sleeves on the top. Hmm)

Then about age 14/15 i begin working in a salon and get blonde highlights! FINALLY. I'm on the end in the green shirt. We were trying to be like the Sex and The City girls with our frosted glasses haha.I pretty much repeated this cycle of highlights until i started college when i started to experiment more. I decide to get some bright red highlights, well lowlights really. But anyway i go very stripy but i loved it at the time!

Also i start plaiting my hair into really tiny plaits and having it all crimpy looking. I think it was to hide the fact i had gained a lot of weight. (BTW these are not my 'before' pictures. I made sure everyone avoiding taking pics of my belly and also cropped them at the time. I had really low self esteem.)

So i decide to have a block of brown underneath my hair, which was a little 90's i guess. Gosh look how chubby my arms are. I was really big here (for me) and you can tell how unhappy i was by the fact this dress was a 16 and it was so tight i had to wear magic granny pants lol. Notice my arm covering by belly- i always do that when i feel fat.

Then i decide to have a big change and leave blonde altogether. I felt i needed a new me, which is what often happens when i hate myself and need to be someone different. But everyone seemed to like it. The only problem with this colour was it didn't last very long. It also washed out and then looked a little green. It took more upkeep then blonde but i kept it for quite a while.

So i decide to get some blonde slices and a more choppy look. This is such a posed picture and i did something on photoshop to make it a brighter colour.

And this was for a Christmas party when i got my work friend to do my hair and makeup. This is when i had Barry M dazzle dusts used on me and i fell in love with them. I don't wear makeup myself but i loved them so much i bought some.

So then Wella bring out a book of new colouring techniques and offered my hair up for experiment. haha. So i had it brown with some pink in a diamond shape around my face. It was OK but way too dark for me.

That doesn't last long and i go brown with a full fringe.

Then bright red!

I finally decide i have had enough of red and a new Schwarzkopf bleach comes out which is meant to lift hair about 8 shades brighter, so i decide to have some bleached streaks to get rid of some of the red. But by now my poor hair as had enough and it snaps off! so we have to do our best and make it a choppy bob. I vow never to colour my hair again! (unless its blonde)

So from then on i just let it grow and have my highlights to get rid of the red

This is pretty much my hair in its natural state when it had been washed and left. Just kinda flicky with my layers. I often just wash and leave my hair. I am too lazy!

And i grew it for graduation

Going back to the tiny crimped look

Graduation comes! Ta da. Loose curls for the graduation Ball. And my size 12 graduation dress hurrah

I just had it cut again. and this is pretty much me now. This isn't posed for, it was taken when i wasn't looking but i like it cos it looks natural.

Gosh that was so long, but its always nice to take a trip down memory lane. Hope you enjoyed this. Let me know.

Self worth?

Well hello there!
Welcome to my blog
There are many reasons I am writing this-

Mainly because its my secret indulgence, I just love reading make up blogs!!!!! I love seeing what people have bought and seeing them wearing them, whether it be makeup or clothes.
I’m a sucker for it.

I own a lot of make up, but I only ever wear eyeliner and mascara… seriously! They are all I wear daily. I have tons of coloured eyeliners, lots of foundation, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, and all those other goodies, but I don’t wear them.
I think part of it is being lazy but the other part is my fantasy- that when I lose weight I will become the “ideal me”
Does anyone else get that?
Now I totally don’t take care of my appearance- mainly because I don’t like how I look.
I don’t see a point in making myself feel good while I’m still fat, I’m not going to be pretty no matter how much make up I put on.

But I realised its not about that
I want to feel good
And I can't lose weight while I feel like crap.
I have realised that losing weight won't make me any prettier
It's about how I feel
And I can't keep putting things off until I'm happy with my body.
I need to make the most of now
I need to take care of myself
Make that time to moisturise myself, to put on a bit of foundation, to wear my fave shoes.

If I wanna lose weight and feel good about myself I need to start now.
And stop waiting for an “ideal me”
Whats wrong with who I am now?

That’s just something I have to try to start to do and realise
